AXA is a French group rooted from the merge of various insurance companies whose the most ancient was created in 1816. L'Ancienne Mutuelle de Rouen was a small French insurance society created during the XIXth century whose main function was to cover the agricultural risks in Normandy. Over this cooperation the future group of AXA will be developed. In 1978 l'Ancienne Mutuelle takes the control of the Compagnie parisienne de garantie, renamed Mutuelle parisienne de garantie. The cooperative Ancienne mutuelle is renamed Mutuelles Unies. In 1982, Mutuelles Unies buy the Drouot Group. The whole of this becomes the first private insurance group in France. In July of 1985: AXA becomes the corporate denomination of the all Mutuelles Unies /Drouot.
[...] Before everything, I had to find by myself the mistakes I had committed. 10- Phone relaunch. This is the second phone call that permits to relaunch the client's enthusiasm, give precisions and sometimes to convince him definitively because maybe he was hesitating before the first phone call. This phone relaunch can eventually be useful to correct the mistakes committed during the first call and explain another time specific features of both products and particularly show the attention paid to the client. [...] Writing of the electronic letter to send and adaptation to each client. In order to sell the contract to the client I had to write an electronic letter template adapted to each client using the direct mail advertising method in « Microsoft Word ». At the end of the writing, a correction and review are done by one of the general agent or one of the collaborator. It is necessary to correct the imperfections. Construction, writing and adaptation to each client of the postal letter to send. [...]
[...] My internship master Mr de C. helped me a lot so that I could make the pre-canvass period preparation concrete. Nevertheless during the cold calls, I had to face many difficulties (demanding of the clients, lack of knowledge of the field, unavailability of the clients or lack of interest of the clients called for the products).After, the phone relaunch helped me a lot because it enabled me to correct the mistakes I had committed during the first cold call. In order to do its profession, the salesperson has to follow various number of training and schooling that can be for instance an internship in a company during one's studies but the person can also do a schooling internship organized by the company where the person works to establish the methodology. The staff orientate clients (who can be companies, professionals or private individual people) for the good insurances, social protection, savings and retirement, bank system and financial investments. The agency, as an AXA Insurance's subsidiary company has defined its different functions that are the following: - To protect facilities and goods of your company. - To protect your company's vehicles. [...] The other internship's necessary point is team working. In the companies nowadays teamwork is essential for the proper functioning of the company. All the employees struggle to systematically communicate between us and to help themselves in order to first increase the organization well-being level and also for its economic health. This internship now is a strong and rewarding professional experience for my future. Without doubts this experience offered me a really good and strong preparation for my professional insertion. Thanks I care a lot about giving thanks in a first time to the entire pedagogic NEOMA Business School team and the professional supervisors and contributors of the « BSC in International Business » formation to have ensured the theorical part of this one.
